Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Short version: PresenceTracker stores all your data locally on your device only. We collect no personal information, use no analytics, and send no data to any server.

PresenceTracker does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. All data you enter in the app — including trip dates, countries, and settings — is stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your device.

Your trip history and app preferences are stored locally using SQLite on-device storage via Expo's SQLite library. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

  • Trip records (dates, destinations, duration)
  • App settings (language, color scheme, PR approval date)
  • Onboarding completion status

We do not have access to this data, and it is not backed up to any Application Development Canada server.

PresenceTracker does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not integrate with any social platforms or share data with any external parties.

The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other device sensors. The only permission used is local storage for saving your trip data.

PresenceTracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

If you have questions about this privacy policy, you can reach us at contact@appdevcanada.ca.
